ITTS.ME, or ‘The International Teachers and Trainers Syndicate’ looks to have some promise, in an aspect of education that has perhaps been overlooked thus far. Clever name then, but from what we can see the idea itself continues in the same vein. When we asked site site founder, Nik Bishop, about what ITTS.ME can deliver, he identified a very common problem:

“You may not be aware of the difficulties in finding trainers for international schools. We do not benefit from having LEA support and a plethora of trainers on the doorstep.”

There seems to be a clear gap in the market here.

The site accommodates teachers and trainers who wish to advertise their areas of expertise. Nik went on to demonstrate the problem a lot of schools abroad face:

The site itself offers a range of social modules which allow international trainers to interact, network and find positions, as well as advertising their skills.
Although at his very early stage, I’m sure what we can take away from this is the benefit this networking site can give to schools all over the world.
